3Com CC1560i PCMCIA Modem

Question

I just acquired one of these modem cards for a ThinkPad 600X on which I am running RedHat 6.2 with version2.4.0-test11 of the kernel. The ThinkPad has a Lucent modem built in, but the binary only driver does not work in kernel versions about 2.2.14. I am wondering whether anyone could provide me with any links or advice on configuring this card -- I have not come across much on the web. Thanks in advance.
