3M to sponsor MMM in Triple Crown – Horse Racing news
An announcement was made today in which it was revealed that the sponsorship of Mucho Macho Man - or MMM in short - is going to be taken up by 3M.
The company made the announcement today and made it known that the horse will have 3M’s backing in all the three race events of the Triple Crown.
While making the news public, the vice president of marketing, sales and corporate communications, Jeff Lavers gave the following statements, “This is a great opportunity to promote the 3M brand and 3M products on one of the world’s biggest and most historic
stages. The Triple Crown represents quality of the highest level so it’s an ideal fit for our company.”
MMM is considered to be one of the best and skilful horses that the horse racing world has in the present day. Earlier this year in the month of February, MMM was able to grab himself the first position in the Risen Star Stakes. The race event took place
on the 19th and the venue was New Orleans. The following month, MMM was able to secure another position, a third this time, in the Louisiana Derby. This race event took place on 26th March. MMM’s success has earned him the credit of being one of the top contenders
of the Kentucky Derby by many in the horseracing world.
3M is under taking this venture by partnering with the majority owner of MMM, Patti Reeves as well as her husband.
Interestingly, Reeves has been an employee of the company she is now partnering with. The fact that she has already been a part of 3M gives her the confidence that comes with making a good business deal. Reeves appreciated the people as well as the product
offerings of 3M when she was asked about the partnership with the company.
It is not new for 3M to be associated with the equine market as they have been active in helping out for over a period of 40 years now.
Despite the fact that announcement has been made regarding the partnership, the parties concerned have not disclosed the terms on which they have been made.
