Question:

3dLearn: Too good to be true?

3Dlearn online is a 3D campus for homeschoolers. They can interact, customize desks, and do anything that is possible in a 3D game.

Does anybody here go on 3DLearn? Is it too good to be true? Or is it really like this?

  1. It sounds like a fun learning game, and it's definitely possible. I think I'll check it out.

  2. It looks interesting.  Sort of pricey (w/ the exception of a single high school class).  I don't like it that the website doesn't have any demos.  For an online course/program, I think it's very important to have demos, or at the very least, screen shots.

It is interesting that they use ALEKS math.  You can also purchase and use that on your own.

I'm going to bookmark it as a possible supplemental course place, but I'm not so sure about total enrollment without more information than their site can give.
