3day before missed period NEGATIVE TEST CAN I STILL BE PREGNANT?

Question

My husband and I are trying for a baby. Last month we had s*x several times around my ovulation days. I am suppost to get my period on the 5th of this month. So I took a pregnancy test this morning which would be 3 days before my missed period. It came out negative. I have had every symptom in the book headaches, weird feeling in stomach, moodyness, sore back, feeling like im getting my period, ect. From experience has anyone tested on the 3rd day before period and gotten a negative and then tested again and go positive a few days later? I know if I wait a few more days I'll know but I just want to see if I should stop getting my hopes up. Thanks

i was a whole freaking week late and still got BFN...i had to go get a blood test...just wait till the period does or doesnt come

Yes, you could be pregnant.  It will depend on the test that you use if it will show this early or not.

Yes you could still be pregnant. That is why it is best to wait until you miss your period before you test. It saves a lot of heartache and money.

poeple need to STOP taking tests too early. after the missed period is when positive or negitive wil show up. gosh

Wait a few more days sometimes for soem ladies it can come out being wrong i know =) i dient know i was prego till i was 4 months yes it sound funny cuz i dient get a preiod but the test still came out being neg ..but yes wait a few more days and try again if you still feel like and no period go to the doc they can do a blood test to get a much better accurate good luck =)

i was reading your question and i realized that if you are pregnant and i am like i think i am our baby's due dates will be the same because my period is due on the 5th to lol i thought that was kinda cool

I went through 8 tests with my second daughter before I got a positive. You don't have to lose hope until your AF arrives.

I tried for 7 years to get preg and i used to buy tests before my period and pray i would be preg and i never was, and when i finally just stopped thinking about it and just let nature run its own course I got pregnant! I am now 3 months and soo excited so i can really understand what your going through! So u really should wait til u miss it before u test, it saves u money and heartache. Good Luck!

Yes. The tests that could tell you whether or not your pregnant 5 days in advance never worked for me!! So wait until your missed period and test again. Good luck!

Hi! Guess what? ANYTHING is possible! If you,like me,DO NOT RETAIN PROTEIN,you will show as NOT pregnant until later in your pregnancy. Get thyself to a Gyn.!
