3rd Generation Ipod Nano help?

Question

I had my ipod on lock and off and then plugged it into the computer without taking it off of lock or turning it on first. When it came on I realized it was still on lock and then took it off but then it still had the lock icon on in the upper right corner. I am not able to do anything such as play, pause, turn off, or take lock off, although the button is not on lock anymore. Could somebody please tell me how to get it to actually unlcock or restart it or just get it to do anything?

Try holding down the centre and play buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds.. it should turn off and restart. Otherwise you might just have to wait till it dies, so unplug it from any charger.
