  1. 3√x - 4/√x=4 → 3x - 4√x - 4 = 0

    → √x =( 4 + √(16 + 48)) / 6 → √x = 2  Ã¢Â†Â’ x= 4

    check x=4 in the equation ;)

  2. Square everything then then you have:

    9x-(16/x) = 16

    Muliply all sides by x

    and simplify

    you have

    9xsquared - 16 = 16x

    divide both sides by x

    you have

    9x = 16

    divide both sides by 9

    x= 16/9

  3. 3 sq root x-4/ sq root x = 4 Ha I don't think so try again!!!

  4. 3sq root x - 4/sq root x = 4

    3sq root x  = 4 + 4/sq root x

    3 = 4sq root x + 4sq root x/sq root x

    3 = 4sq root x + 4

    -1 = 4sq root x

    -1/4 = sq root x

    (-1/4)^2 = (sq root x)^2

    1/16 = x

    sq root 1/16 = +- 1/4

    so,  3sq root x - 4/sq root x = 4, only  when x = 1/16
