  1. (3 sq rt 2 + sq rt 5)(3sq rt 2 + sq rt 5)

    18 + 6 sq rt 10 + 5

    23 + 6 sq rt 10


  2. If it was 64√4, the answer would be 128.

    Really, you have to multiply (3√2 + √5)x(3√2 + √5)

    If you FOIL, you get 18+3√10+3√10+5. Add that to get 23+6√10.

    That radical can't be simplified though... are you sure you wrote it right?
