Fifty-seven people were tied for first place with a 4.0 GPA in my high school ninth grade class out of about 460 total ninth grade students.

I did. Going in as a Sophomore I'm worried about losing it.  I have Honors Biology, Honors Enlish, Honors World History, Algebra 2, and French 2.  It's going to be hard to keep it up, but I hope you do.

It's not hard, freshman year is easy. Try getting a 4.3 GPA with three AP classes your senior year when you desperately want to just slack off and graduate.
