The current amount of "missing, unaudited" money for the Iraq war stands at 23billion dollars.

I won't join in your discussion group, thank you, because in the light of the above statement about the 23billion missing

US taxpayers money I think I would be participating in some arcane academic exercise to discuss how another 4.5billion will vanish.

Everyone has to be all technical.  They gave them the money.  Audits won't change a thing.

I'm a news nut. I keep up with things as it happens, when it happens- when the money started to flow to Iraq at the start of the occupation , The Bush administration gave the entire task of keeping track of the money and the oil money to a rich republican contributor that was not even a CPA- he operated out of his house, and hired two people to help him that were CPA's- I know that's hard to believe , but it's the truth. They did not and still don't want the public to know where and how and who got the money- Haliburton was caught 3 times overcharging the government and the investigation was stopped by- d**k Cheney- they were charging $250 for a 24 pack of cokes- they were getting gas from the Iraqi's for 7 cents a gallon at that time and charging the government $3.00 a gallon for it They were charging $75 to wash a 15 lb load of clothes- and these, believe it or not were the legal charges- They were caught double billing the gov.on the other occasions. Just remember , d**k Cheney ordered the investigations to cease. Nothing will be done- congress has to act as if they are trying, that's all there will be to it.
