Peru is a country that posseses 90% of all existing ecosystems in the world (desert, beach, jungle, rain forest, everglades, etc.) I think there are like 94 in total and we got 85.

Even though peru is next to the equator and should be tropical country like brazil and full of vegetation, a cold ocean current flows thruought the peruvian coast and makes it impossible to rain in the first 100 - 150 km of mainland, so our beaches look more like the ones in the middle east.

For as long as 100 years ago, Peru like United States was a country with a diverse ethnical population. In addition to the Inka descendants, Peru had a lot of African Slaves brought in and now they are an important part of our population. Years later the same occured with the Chinesee. Parallel to those inmigrants, many europeans also came in the last 100 years (Germans, English, Italians, spanish, French) not belonging to the aristocratic class dominated by spanish descendants from colonial and early republican times.

An other interesting fact is that Peru lacks of the four known wheather seasons. Since Peru is located in the tropics, Instead of having  Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall; we only have two seasons that we call Summer and Winter and the short period of transition between the two, that you might call the interseason.

It is difficult to chose only 4 interesting facts of Peru. it is better to go and see your own eyes this wonder full country. There are a lot of traditions, customs. I have been there for 4 years and now I can say I love this country very much.

There are several ancient cultures in Peru, which are alive till our days. For example: Тне culture of Mocha  ( you can see Chan-Chan - the ancient city)

And what about Paracas,?  The nature reserve in the seaside
