    ie. EcoR1 = E. coli

    AvaII - Anabaena variabilis

    Recognition site:

    5'-G^G A C C-3'

    3'-C C T G^G-5'

    DpnII - Streptococcus pneumoniae

    5'-N^GATCN-3'

    3'-NCTAG^N-5'
