  1. just carry it and put cage in trunk

  2. I think a small cat carrier would be ok. A large one might stress her out. You might want to let her check it out while she is at home.....especially if she is allowed to wander out of the cage. I have had guinea pigs for many, many years. They get nervous or scared very easily; so whatever is best for her and you will have to try different ways.

  3. you can do, i always have when i have taken mine to the vet with no problem.Make sure it is padded with some bedding and you have a water bottle attached.:)

If you mean as a permanent cage, then no.You need a proper hutch. Also remember that guinea pigs are very sociable animals, and it is much kinder if there is at least another guinea pig in the cage as well.Always make sure you have a cage or hutch that is plenty big enough.

  4. To take her to the vets?

Yes, it's fine, but if she needs to be in there for over an hour, attach a water bottle to the front of the cage, and make sure there's hay or a cushion underneth her because those plastic crates are d**n uncomfortable. We took our rabbit in our cat crate when he was alive, and of course she's going to go to the toilet in there- that's what small animals do.

I'm not going to assume you're stupid like everyone else who's answered so far and think that you're asking if it would be a suitable permenant cage.

  5. As a cage?? No! Just get a bigger cage so it isn't enclosed

  6. I have owned guinea pigs for 10 years so I know all about them. They're adorable pets, and no you should keep her in a cage while she's at home. But if you take her somewhere, they sell guinea pig/hamster/ferret carrying cases. Don't use a cat one, it's too big and will make her uncomfortable and give her more reason to go to the bathroom in it.

    Good luck!

  7. thats what i use

on ethat opens at the top and is made of plastic so she can't shew her way out or escape whilst ypou open the door
