  1. Probably you have tripped a gfci outlet, check the bathroom, kitchen and outside outlets for the gfci. Then reset each one. They should be tested  once a month.

  2. It very well may be a bad breaker, but here is another suggestion. Check to see if any of the outlets are GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupters). This is the type of outlet with the reset and test button. If any one of these is a GFCI, and has tripped, every outlet on the circuit with be dead. Simply push the reset button on any/all outlets on the circuit, then reset your breaker again.

  3. You might need to replace the actual fuse for those outlets rather than resetting it.  If this is the case, it should be a cheap fix.

  4. Sounds like a bad breaker.

Does it flip off and on very easily, no resistence, no snap at all?

  5. it's all basic troubleshooting what you will need is a multimeter or an AC test lite and see if you're getting power from the outlet itself i know you already did this but trust me you need to start at the beginning or you'll end up going backwards. if no power there then remove the outlet itself (be careful you don't touch bare wires--ZAPPP!!!!)  and check for power there if you have power there then replace the outlet if no power then check for power coming out of the breaker at the box if power there then it's a bad wire and needs to be replaced if no power there check for power going into the breaker if power there replace the breaker and so on if you cant find it or if it's too much for you to handle then call an electrician and watch him while he works and you'll learn what to do next time. remember that they're expensive so get your money's worth by asking q's and learning all you can from him and it'll save you in the long run.  that's how i got my info that i just passed on to you!  good luck and BE CAREFUL!!!  i can't stress that enough remember that stuff (i.e. electricity) can kill ya!!!

  6. Call an electrician.
