4 teenagers summer vacation?

Question

any ideas on where my 3 best friends and i can go this summer? we're on a tight budget b/c this fall we're moving into a house and we need to save as much as we can for that. but we also wanna have an awesome senior trip.

any ideas??

oh, we're not typical drinking-in-the-pool kind of girls

we're looking more for adventure/new experiences

If you've never been to Montreal then consider it.  Visit some of the sights there, fantastic food and a very foreign flavor even by Toronto standards.  Stay in the youth hostel, its cheap and fun, you'll meet lots of new people from across the globe and it's located right in the middle of town.  Actually hosteling anywhere is pretty fun, Niagara Falls isn't far from you and has a ton of activities to enjoy on the cheap or even free.  I find NF to be an enjoyable place simply to wander around, and St Catharine is a short drive with a scenic waterfront.  On a clear day you can wave to Toronto across the lake!

Right in Toronto you could consider getting a CityPass, gives you access to many of the cities attractions for extremely cheap, although you may know about that already, and besides you probably want to escape TO.

If you like the water then Bruce Peninsula up north, Wasaga Beach, Awenda Provincial Park or Pelee Island (Canada) or Kelleys Island (US) are both accessible by ferry from Leamington  (Kelleys takes a ferry from Leamington-Pelee Island- Sandusky, US, - Kelleys).  If you enjoy swimming, hiking, kayaking/canoeing, or bicycling they are fantastic.  Put-in-Bay on South Bass Island, US, is a good mix of outdoor entertainment with a healthy dose of night life as well, especially on the weekend.

If youd just like to check out some parks or camping, Long Point, Rondeau, or Pelee Point National Park are excellent choices.

Those are probably the closest places to Toronto I've visited, personally I think TO itself is a fantastic destination!  My tastes run more towards camping, hiking, boating and bicycling so sorry if my responses are weighted towards those.
