Question:

4 week old nose problems?

My 4 week old's nose is pretty stuffed up but I don't see any boogers, and I sucked his nose out each nostril and he is still stuffed up but nothing much came out, how can i help him?

  1. This is totally normal, my son does it all the time. I insisted that something was wrong even when the pediatrician said it was normal because sometimes it sounds like he gasps for air. Although when he made that gasping for air noise in front of the pediatrician and I pointed it out, he kind of chuckled and still said it was normal


  2. My  son was like that from the day he was born and is still like that, he's 10 months old now.

  3. Don't suck him out anymore, that can actually make it worse. It can cause the inside of his nose to swell up and make him even more stuffy. It's very common for newborns to be stuffy. It will go away on its own. If you want you can run a humidifier and put a couple saline drops in each nostril. Godd Luck

  4. We started using a humidifier when that happened to my daughter and she got much better. You can buy them almost any where.
