4 year old child development testing?

my son is too young for school (late birthday) but is eligble for child development.

what kinds of stuff will they test him on?

i was just curious. i really want him to get it, but he might be too smart... lol

  1. you could send child to preschool or headstart at the age of 4


  2. It is another word for preschool that's all.  They just go and interact with kids their age and learn to share, wait their turn, play together, etc. No testing.

  3. Put him through pre-school.  This will develop his social skills.  It will really set him up for kindergarten, when he gets separated from you part of the day, and he'll understand some structure he learned in pre-school.  Also, they teach them the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors and crafts.  My kids really benefitted from this, and they transitioned very well by the time they went to kindergarten.

  4. Just send him to preschool to develop social skills and such. It will make the transistion easier to elementary school.
