Last time I babysat, the 4 year old girl was really rambunctious so I had to constantly keep her busy and play with her. The boy wanted me to play video games and stuff with him, and when I did that, the girl wanted to play with just me or else she would kinda start getting antsy and the two would fight. Then, I would feel bad because I'm kinda leaving the boy. I'm babysitting them tommorow, what should I do??

  1. Have a "mini party" with some homade games like bowling, putt putt golf and have end it all with a water balloon fight! Play tag with them or hide and go seek. Try this website also www.familyfun.com I get lots of great ideas from them. YOu can contact me personally if you want more ideas!

  2. Do the same thing with both of them at the same time. Like coloring, playing games, kids love hide & seek. Maybe color pics for the parents arrival back home. Maybe bake cookies or something along those lines. Have fun & good luck.

  3. maybe you should go to stores and buy him video games or something he likes.

if i were you i would try to get permission to ask his mom to bring over a friend

  4. It might be hard to get the boy to do something other than play his video games.  However, it wouldn't hurt to try to bring an art/craft project they can both do with you.  Look online for ideas.  Maybe something they can make for their parents.  Macaroni art is always fun!

Or...you can bring coloring books for the little girl to do while she sits next to you as you play video games.

What a fun babysitter you are!

  5. Can you take them outside. Get some balls and things for them to do. kinda nice to get them out for awhile where they can run and scream.

  6. be a parent, and as a family you are all equal
