I am soon to go to Disneyland, Orlando with my mum, dad, little sister (4years) and me (15years.) It will be my little sisters first time there and my second as we went before she was born (I was 6) and I was wondering if anyone knew of anything that we HAVE to do when we go!! Is there anything that Disney does to make a first visit special or is it all on us???

  1. I don't think this is something you need to worry about. I'm sure your parents are doing whatever is necessary to plan for your trip. Besides that, Disney is very family oriented and caters to people of all ages, so no need to be concerned about your little sister. Relax!

By the way, Disneyland is in California. Disney World is in Florida.

  2. Well try catching one of the live shows (they have one about the year of a million dreams or something & also one with fireworks)...those are always special and memorable!

  3. It's on you. 4 is a bit young so I do recommend renting a stroller to hold your bags with snacks and drinks, as well as a place for your sis to rest her legs. Try and make  a plan because Disney is so big it's easy to get frustrated trying to see everything. Include things that will excite yourself as well as your sister. You might benefit from a speed pass so your not waiting on killer 2 or more hour lines. You can pre-buy tix on-line to save time from standing on line to buy tixs, also think about packing lunch and buying dinner so you don't spend all your time dinning. Any way you slice it, Disney is a blast, so enjoy it!

  4. Disney land is very oriented toward young children, be sure to take her to see the big dressed up mickey mouse and goofey and whatnot. I remember when me and my little sister went to disney world when i was about that age and it was fun hugging the giant goofy!

  5. Just have fun! Don't worry! Just don't let your little sister get hurt and you should be OK. But if you absolutely wanted a great stay, my aunt said something about staying a night in a Cinderella room inside of the castle. That might be nice!

    XD!

  6. You need to grab a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Disney World.  It's a must have book and it has guides for families with small children that will guide you step by step through the park and will even recommend ways that all the grownups can hit the big rides that may be really tough on the little one.

  7. 1st off Disneyland is in California. Disney World is in Florida.

You need to go on the three mountains: Splash Mountain Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

Also Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Then at Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest and Dinosoar.

    At Epcot Test Track isawesome.

That is if you're going to all the parks.

  8. its all on you really...nothing happened when i went there

  9. If your little sister is interested in Princesses and what not, Magic Kingdom is perfect. They have a salon made to turn little girls into princesses. Also, they have kiddie rides like Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, etc. And at the end of the day they have a parade. She'll love it. Oh, and when you go make sure you visit the the Stitch Ride. It's not actually a ride, it's more like a walkthrough but it's nice for the whole family. Enjoy your visit :)

Also, it's the year of a million dreams, so there will be lots a fireworks and special events. You can find videos and other official info at VMK's website.

  10. Every visit to Disney is very special, so don't worry about it!

  11. climb the tower

  12. I have been to Disneyland numerous times and been to Disneyworld 5. You should go see some Playhouse Disney stuff with Stanley, Bear in the Big Blue House and of course Mickey Mouse.
