  1. bye bye recored

  2. no, as long as its under your name and you didn't pay back. you will get bad credit.

  3. Since it's in your name it will come back to you. If you haven't already seen  it on your credit report id consider yourself lucky. That is the first thing I would do. You can do this by going to www.annualcreditreport.com. Secondly, I would check the statute of limitations in your state. This will really tell you if they can pursue the debt  legally or not. SOL is the amount of time they have to come after you by legal means for bad debts. Again check in your state as it varies by state. The state I am in MN is quite bad easily issuing garnishments court awards and so on for up to 6 years after they happen. States like SD, and TX are two i know of that have relatively short SOL on bad debts and they don't ever award wage garnishments. Again it varies by state. Thirdly I would see what collection agency has the account, and pay it, IF THEY HAVEN'T yet reported it on your credit report. Make sure they agree not to report it after it has been paid. Collection accounts can remain on a credit report seven years from the day they were first reported as bad by the company. Needless to say if you have flawless credit and this get reported, your score will drop like a stone.

  4. With that bill on your records no you do not have perfect credit you have a 4 year old collections on it. Dependent upon your state it is most likely past the statute of limitations, but some collection agency, will or has bought it for penny's on the dollar and will be contacting and threatening you. If you decide to make payments without a pay to delete bargain in writing, that will re age the debt and start the 7 years all over again. So first when they call you is in writing dispute it, they have 30 days to prove the debt is yours, if not then it has to be removed from your report. If they do prove it then you can go with the pay to delete, or say it is past the statute of limitations and when they take you to court that will save you from a judgment, but it will remain on your report for 3 more years. ps when you dispute it ask for a copy of the original contract with your name on it because you believe that this is a case of stolen identity. (please tell me you did not sign it)

  5. First check your credit report for free at annualcreditreport.com.

  6. It's your debt. Pay it or you will not have perfect credit any longer. The lower your score the higher your interest rate when you do borrow

  7. I would obtain a credit report. If it happened 4 years ago and you never paid it may have ended up in collections,or as a judgment against you.And that may negatively affect your credit score.

  8. get a credit report.

  9. you have that to the cellphone company and talk to them what you should do about it. if you will not mind about that credit of yours, even if you werent the one who use it, surely you will have  a bad record when it comes to credit..
