Question:

40 weeks and cramping?

i dont think the cramps are contactions cause it just a sudden cramp that comes out of nowhere and last for like four seconds. what do you think it could be?

  1. Contractions. You're probably just in the beginning stages of labor. It will probably still be a while before you're ready for the hospital, but keep an eye on how regular they are.


  2. Just your body getting ready for labor.  I've been cramping (and contracting) for the past two weeks.  I'm 38 weeks with my 4th.  You'll know when it's labor.

  3. Sounds like contractions. Every woman feels contractions differently, it even differs from one pregnancy to the next. Time them and call your doctor's office and let them know you are having contractions every so many minutes so they have a heads up your baby might be coming tonight.
