400, 800 meter girl times for a division 2 school?

Question

I run track for my high school and we are a division 2 school. Some times i see posted on here are untouchable by any runners in our division so I was wondering what *realistic* good times would be.

By the way;

I am a freshman. 5'1

400 pr- 64.9

800 pr- 2:28

400 maybe a 70-75 but the 800s pretty realistic

Both of your event times are good, especially the 800 - that time would be top 5 in our league (AA, probably the same as division 2). I would say that a realistic goal would be sub-60 in the 400 and 2:15 in the 800 (figuring you've got 3 more years in high school.

Both seem great! Man, especially that 800. I'm a freshman, and I run like a 3:00 (well, that's only cause I have shinsplints)...if i didn't I would only get like a 2:40 haha
