400 dollars deposit for college tuition to secure my classes i just got accepted is this normal??

I got accepted to Ny tech and they want a 400 dollar deposit to secure my classes for the fall is this normal. i went to a smaller college so i dont remember payin as much. Is this normal before i give that non refundable cash away?

my gf paid 1000 deposit its normal for any school to ask for deposit of course each school has a different amount and if you plan to go to the school remember it will be deducted from the tuition so make sure its a school you would want to attend
