On animal planet they just said that a full grown box jellyfish can reach lenths of 400 feet long. I dont see how this can be realistic. Does anyone have any information on this fact?

  1. I'm guessing they meant the total length of all the tentacles added together.

There are up to 60 tentacles, and each tentacle can be over 9 feet in length, so it would be possible that all of them added together could equal even more than 400 feet.
