2008, the Mexican consulates have reported 752 in Phoenix applying for transfer documents to Mexico & 400 in Dallas.

According to informal surveys by the Mexican consulate in Dallas, most of those wanting to return to Mexico cite the sudden scarcity of jobs, fear of deportation and uncertainty about obtaining legal resident status any time soon.

What do you think about this situation?

  1. I think it is great, it just gets me that they will apply for documents to go back where they belong, but while here feel no need to, now what is up with that? I just wish millions more would!!!

  2. I thought it was 50,000,000

  3. so now theyre leaving  who is the next victim of your racism, Peruvians ?

P.S. Q for racists  not you( if youre not).

  4. immigrants, i dont no why  american are awlays o  hating their immigrants, despite the fact that they do all the dirty work for them!!!

it un believable, isnt there a better way ?????? atleatst be nice to them , life is hard

  5. In addition, I also liked the part about it's not just happening in Dallas.....but Phoenix.....Chicago....other places too.

  6. Am I suppose to be impressed.  I will when they come back and get the other 25,000,000.

  7. it's about time.....  now maybe some americans can get some jobs.

  8. Yup!  just like the first guy says it's a start.

  9. Right Americans who dont have   jobs are going to apply and get one..... its not like they let people work in their bed ...

there are jobs everywhere... I've seen lot of signs but still see a lot of people  not be racist but are from black race and white race  still asking for money ......that is laziness...

I saw one where he said why work if he makes more money asking for money in an hour.....

  10. Well, with the price of gasoline to the clouds, now the illegals leave, the price of vegetables and many other things will go who knows where

I imagine that all those people that celebrate it will be more than happy to go work on the fields, in the meat packing industry and those places where the illegals worked for cents. If they demand higher salaries, then the price of the articles will go SHWOOOOOOOOSH !

  11. It is good news, if we can get all of the other illegals out of the US then we can celebrate!!

  12. It's a good start...

  13. Big deal -- 60,000 trespassers entered the U.S. in the last 30 days..  This means the 1200 people returning to Mexico from Phoenix and Dallas have already been replaced with more unwanted and unneeded.

Unneeded because we already have enough of a citizen underclass who would take most of these unskilled jobs if they knew where they were.  Posting these jobs at the state DOL's  or DESD's is pointless because people collecting unemployment don't usually apply.  They already have an income.  Most unskilled people who desperately need work are NOT collecting unemployment benefits and therefore don't go to DOL to check the bulletin boards.  The US DOL needs to find a more effective way of advertising these positions and providing transportation to the job site.  Adding free online education as an enticement would cost little since the courses are already in place.

Each illegal alien costs the taxpayers at least $10,000 annually - much more than businesses save by hiring them..

  14. make it 3..Good Start indeed

  15. Someone agree: it's about time..... now maybe some Americans can get some jobs. But why  a lot of people from oversea came to America to work exp:Vietnam Communist.....

and they got paid for every things and we're working hart still hungry.hope take care American first.

    I'm a Vietnamese boat people

  16. It's a start, now if we can just get the other 12 million to take a hint we'd be doing just fine.

  17. Well, if they get caught and don't have any documentation, then they can't get back into Mexico either. So, I would think it is a good thing that they are getting transfer docs.

As to what I personally think... If they want to go, then go. If they want to stay, take the steps to become responsible citizens and stay. I am not against ANYONE who wants to migrate - whether you be from Mexico, China, Africa, what-have-you & wanting to come to the US or an American citizen wanting to live overseas. I feel this is God's Earth above ALL others (citizens, gov't officials and so forth) and that ALL people should have the freedom to live where they so choose without a system that can and does take YEARS to process your application, keeping you from being a law abiding citizen, tearing apart families and killing the American dreams for people who came here much like the ancestors of ANY American citizen.

Some people scream "Report and Deport!" I cry out "Fix the system - fix the problem!!!"

Edit: "Thebig" speaks 100% truth. I know I don't want to pay $4.00 for a pound of bananas. And THAT would only be the beginning of how fast this country will go down the crapper if anymore prices rise as fast as gas prices are skyrocketing. Did you know that they're talking about no new cars in the US? Saw it on the news yesterday. Next thing you know it'll be Cuba and we'll all be trying to drive the same cars we have today 50 years from now.

  18. I think it's great news and hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of it.

  19. It's unfortunate that a declining U.S. economy is doing more to return illegals to their home countries than is any concerted  effort by our Congress.

This situation would never have developed if the U.S. had been effective in enforcing immigration laws that have been in effect ever since 1986.

This is NOT an issue that should be dealt with inequitably. If the U.S. enforces immigration laws on our southern border equal enforcement should take place on our northern border as well (Canadian workers should not find it easier to gain U.S.employment  than our Mexican neighbors). Selective enforcement is unacceptable.  ALL illegals should be unwelcome.

American jobs are becoming harder and harder to come by. Why should we allow them to be given to foreigners?

  20. YES!!! Hopefully this keeps up on a regular basis. And to everyone who says who will pick the tomatoes!! Dont you fret your little brains about it, they will get picked, always have. I just showed this to two LEGAL immigrants and they are very pleased!!
