  1. under 49 seconds will get you a scholorship

  2. i ran a 56 my sophomore year as well. I did a lot of growing and hard working out and ran a 51.4 this year as a senior . You gotta come to practice everyday and run during the offseason. I did a lot of weightlifting and jogging in the offseason and tried not to peak to early during the spring season. If your going to grow a lot that will help as well, i grew 6 inches from my soph year to this year so that  might factor in as well. Just run a lot repetition workouts and have confidence because you probably can hit 50.0

  3. To run division-I any time under :50 will get you consideration at certain schools.

You will probably needs to run 15-25 miles/week. It is different for everybody. The main thing is the workouts, which should consist primarily of 200s for you. Maybe 8x200s at about :25-:26, or faster. Of course, this is when you are physically ready to make the jump to :50.
