41 weeks and today lost the mucus plug.?

this green or yelow mucus came out, and was big a had constractions last nigth and today came out, i had constraction all day, but the day before yesterday my DR. sweep my membranes and after that more constrations and today this.....wed im getting induced if the baby dont come. How long will take after this dischage? , should i go to the hospital? i did call the nurse and she said to go, but i was there 4 days ago in pain and they said that i was not dilatating and send me back home. some advice please on what to do and how long more for active labor to start.

I wouldnt go in yet. I lost my plug twice. Both times had blood in it which indicates it is the end... I lost it the second time 3 days ago. And only cramping since. Im right there with you. There is nothing more annoying than being sent home... I have been 2 cm dilated for almost 3 weeks.

I would go in when your contractions are regular and more painful.

I would go get checked.  After you lose your mucus plug, you and your baby are more prone to infection.  

It's better to be safe than sorry!
