41cc Gas Scooter is taking off without me pulling the throttle?

I'M NOT TAKING IT TO ANY SHOPS/LAWN MOWER SHOPS, I WANT TO FIX IT AT MY HOUSE!

Well, my scooter is taking off without me pulling the throttle back. When I do finally get the scooter to start it will go for about 10 seconds the cut off. I know that it is something wrong with the idle thing but, i will turn it left/right and it is still going without me pulling it back....

IS there a technique to make it work?

How do I fix this?

Do you have any pictures where it shows which thing to show?

I WOULD TAKE IT TO THE MANUFACTURE R BUT, THAT IS IN CALI, AND MY WARRANTY IS UP!

kind of hard to answer without knowing makew and model of what you have .might not be your idle s***w. might be the float. I would remove the carb disassemble blow compressed air through all orifices and reinstall. And pull your pants up! yo pic is so ghetto yo!

i have a 32cc and all it takes is the smallest bit of 5hit in the idle jet and hey presto, your exact problem.

now dose the carby have two fuel mixture screws, one is low vacuume the other high.

now if there are two screws and it is a little square carbie, let me know.

or if it is one that has a fuel bowl and floats, let me know.

the problem that you have is fuel stavation, the question is what type of carbie is it to tell you how to fix it.

plus if i know what it is i can teach you to tune it and even hot it up abit.
