Some of them were a real mess and some were stupid. One of my points is that it doesn't really sounds normal. I expected from them to be almost perfect, which for me means no crashes at all.

How many do you expect they to be in the end of the season? I say something like 500 :) Of course I hope no one else falls! I prefer watching them on the bikes than on the ground!

  1. Lets see if they can get 500 by the next round !!!

  2. Well 431 crashes really sounds unexplainable, even scary.

I don't want any more crashes, they are not sth nice to watch and I do hope that Moto GP riders would be in a better shape than they used to so far, but  having in mind how things are going now 500 crashes wouldn't surprise me.I still wish that unless they stop their number would not be higher than 440.

  3. Hi A.nik,

I think Andrew said more or less what I would have, thought whilst they are obviously pushing it hard - and testing new bikes too - I too was a bit surprised at the number you quoted.

You would think that with all the engine management techology etc. things would have calmed down a bit!

  4. Maybe it's because the riders are pushing closer to the limit, especially with so many up and coming young riders this season.  It is a surprising number however; especially as the four strokes are not as susecptible to 'power band' surges as the two strokes were, which tended to flip the riders off, High side.  Now THOSE were crashes.

You don't see nearly as many high sides as you used to with the two strokes; so maybe there are more crashes, but less serious ones..
