And now wants to be vice president of America?

What is the use of doing that test to detect fetal abnormalities?

Why will 44 yrs go for 5th down syndrome baby?

Pro-life purposely delivering down syndrome baby?

Is this really a smart human being?

  1. Lame attack. The reports I've read say she didn't know until the fourth month. If my missus and I found out that we were having a Down syndrome kid (or any kid for that matter) at four months, we'd keep it too.

  2. You must be a child-hater since you can't afford to raise one or you are just a jerk who envy the position of lovely Sarah Palin who has the balls to give life to a 5th baby. Most above 40 years old have normal babies.

  3. The use of the test is to prepare.

The test is done during the pregnancy, not before. One doesn't plan an abnormal pregnancy. One discovers the abnormality and then deals with it.

Yes, we all have our imperfections, and she elected not to destroy a baby she knew wouldn't be perfect. Sounds admirable to me.

From the tone of your questions, especially the one about "go[ing] for Down's syndrome baby, you have no room to talk about her intelligence.

Down's syndrome kids tend to be really sweet. I've known one for nearly fifty years. How about a little tolerance? I suppose you certainly can't vote for Obama, based on race. Or is race-based bigotry forbidden while genetic disorders aren't?

  4. Had I the chance to only have one child in my life, and that child would have down syndrome.

I would spare the potential soul that life.

  5. Yep...you better vote Obama to be safe!  He has all the answers for you back at his temple of Change!

  6. WOW, Are you for real? Purposely delivering a down syndrome baby? Maybe we could judge YOUR mother by the same standard. Do you mean to tell me, she purposely delivered a heartless wretch of a person? I mean if we are still going by your standards then, let me raise money for your first abortion, because if your child is anything like you...well, we certainly wouldn't want just one more idiot in the world. Would we??

I would like you to know, I have three boys. My middle son has down's. He is the most beautiful human being I think I have ever laid eyes on. He is happy most of the time, doesn't complain about much. He runs and laughs with his brothers. He loves to watch football with his daddy. His name is Jaden and we call him Jayjay. I hope you are fortunate enough to meet someone like this in your lifetime. Maybe you will be blessed by the lord with a special baby one day. I wouldn't change anything about Jaden, God sent him to me to teach me some things. I wouldn't trade him for anything. May God bless you.....

  7. She's not a smart lady AT ALL! Actually, I wouldn't even call her a lady...but not because of her choice to keep her baby. Children with down's syndrome can live full and happy lives and deserve a chance at life. My problem lies with the fact that she's a gun-toting, extreme conservative, anti-choice, anti g*y marriage, pro death penalty and ANWAR drilling inexperienced idiot!

  8. Find some one with down syndrome and ask them what they think. I know a few who live a good life.

I know at least one who would love to know where you live.

  9. well it seems kind of callous to KILL the baby because it was imperfect.

  10. Ok, we know she is pro life and this is a free country so its whatever in my book. But is she against birth control or condoms too? She needs to stop making babies and go raise her mini football team, I mean kids. LOL

  11. She decided not to kill her baby because of an imperfection.

You seem to have an imperfection - you clearly have no idea about how to properly punctuate =]  Should we kill you?  I think not.

  12. Maybe the use is for preparing to take care of a special needs child.  You are basically suggesting that unless someone is physically perfect they should be exterminated.   You are taking a play right out of Hitler's book with that one.   You are assuming that just because he has down syndrome he can't have a decent life.   That's not true.   Maybe your mother should've aborted you instead.  Then we wouldn't have idiot genetic holocausters on YA spouting nonsense.

  13. she needs to take care of her kids...NOT run for vp!

  14. I have friends with a Downs Syndrome child. He is quite functional and a great person. I hope you don't have flat feet or wear glasses, or prone to ask stupid questions, because that would make you inferior and undeserving of life by your own standards.

  15. Said the moron who knows nothing about downs sydrome people.  Maybe we should have aborted all babies that we thought would have red hair.

One would take the test early so they could prepare emotionally, financially and medically for a special needs child.  As the surprise of a downs child would be very stressful during a very stressful time.

Not everyone is willing to kick a living being to the gutter just because they don't meet their specifications.  Look in the mirror, is there maybe some reason for retro-active birth control starring back at you.

Oh and by the way, genious: Governor Sarah Palin has facilitated a gas pipeline that pissed off the oil companies.  It will generate $112billion of income for the state over 20 years and create 12,000 new jobs.  On September 12th every man, woman and child in Alaska will get a check for about $3300.  This is an annual event.  Can your governor do this?

  16. Do you throw a life away every time its a little banged up?

  17. I think she will be great as Vice President . I would also have the baby under these circumstances . Sometimes all the tests are wrong and even if they are right . I am serving GOD not taking over HIS work for HIM .

  18. Because babies with Downs Syndrome have no value?

    Hm.

  19. Lots of children with Down Syndrome live very happy lives if they are raised with love. Lets hope that she has someone really great taking care of this child and bonding with this child. Running for VP would not be an option for me under these circumstances. But, she has the resources, she made the choice. I am pro choice and I don't know what I would decide, but for her, with her beliefs, it was not a choice.

Just so you know, over 50% of the time the prenatal tests that indicate Down Syndrome are false. I have 2 beautiful nephews w/o Downs that wouldn't be here if they had decided to abort because of false test results. I have an amazingly smart and beautiful granddaughter who wouldn't be here if my daughter hadn't ignored the fact that tests showed that she'd had a "disappearing twin" that could have been a problem.

I am about as pro choice as they come and don't think ANYone should tell me what I should do. Fortunately this was not a decision I have ever had to make. It works both ways - that's what pro choice means. It is nobody's business but the mom, IMO.

  20. HONEY, this has got to be one of the most uneducated questions I've read on here. She didn't know the baby was going to have down syndrome before she conceived, you can't know that for sure. Sure, there may be a slight increase in chance at her age but it still isn't a certainty or even probability. She only found out once she was already pregnant. I find it incredibly admirable that she would decide to bring a baby with down syndrome into this world and be ready to face the challenges that come with that.

And to tell you the truth I find the statement you maid......."Pro-life purposely delivering down syndrome baby?" disgusting. Just because the child is going to have down syndrome does not make it an expendable life. Have you ever met anyone with down syndrom? They are some of the happiest and purest of hearts you can find on this earth.

  21. Ok, I am getting a little fed up with people writing this c**p and giving us Obama supporters a bad name.  I don't want to be lumped in with people who see "defective" babies as trash to be thrown away.  Do you even know anyone with Down's Syndrome ?  They are amazing positive people who are have every right to be a part of our society.  The idea that she shouldn't be vp because she refused to kill her baby?  Are you kidding ?

  22. Thank Heaven for stay at home Moms who care about the welfare of their children. Palin has a special needs child at home and here she is running around trying to save the world.

She choose to let this child be born yet decided to let someone else take care of him. No, this is not a woman I want to be President.

  23. I THINK YOU NEED TO QUIT JUSTIFYING OBAMAS UNFORTUNATE TURN OF EVENTS

  24. I only see one actual question here.  To that I say. in my opinion, she is not only smart, but courageous, and loving of life.  And, yes, I believe she would make a very good VP.

  25. its not really about her giving birth to the downs syndrome baby its the fact that she was stupid enough to have a baby at 44.
