  1. acp= Automatic Colt Pistol. also called 45 auto, it should be the same ammunition.

  2. YES, Yes, yes.*

  3. They will be fine Wayne, .45 ACP and .45 Auto are just different names for the same cartridge.

  4. Yes, good to go.

  5. Oh yes, .45 ACP and .45 Auto are acronyms of each other, and will be perfectly safe and interchangeable. For example, my dad has a Kimber 1911 that says .45 ACP, and we shoot American Eagle 230 grain .45 Auto out of it.

  6. "Winchester" is the ammo maker.  The caliber is .45 acp or .45 Auto which is the same thing.  If your 1911 is a Forty-five, then it will take ammo labeled '.45 acp' or '.45 Auto.'

  7. Yes you can use winchester 45 auto ammo, its the same ammo.  Just made by Winchester.

    Great pistol by the way.

  8. On the bottom of the bullet it will say .45 auto, you are good to go with that in your 1911 A1.  If it says .45 WIN auto then do not use them, sorry i should have explained that in your prior question.
