I am going through the same thing. Im afraid it has something to do with age. I am 44. The body will be changing preparing itself for the menopause which can take several years for the buildup of the big M. My cycles are like every 15 days and somtimes last for 8 days. My usual cycle is 24 days too. Still get it checked out with your doctor, mine is doing blood tests to see if my body is going through premenopause.
