49ers fans ?

Question

The 49ers D is definitely looking good this preason. Offense is still shaky, and basically no good. Still, O'Sullivan had a decent night, so there is still that hope. I think the 49ers D is will be a top 10 D, as long as the offense can improve a little bit over last year. How do you guys feel about these preseason showings so far? what is your record prediction? I think it looks like a nice improvement. I think we have potential for an 8-8 season.

I'm not a fan but i think they have rebuilt well and will potentially win 8 to 10 games this year. Preseason is hard to tell, most teams don't put great effort into their preseason games. They have talent and should improve over the next couple years

I don't see top 10 D. Top 20 maybe, and 8-8 is a little bit of a stretch until they can get their QB issues resolved.

Im not a 49ers fan but there is hope this year and for the near future. Frank Gore is a good RB and with a solid D that is how you win football games. They are in a weak division so if things go their way maybe even a playoff berth. Look at the 2000 Ravens who won the SB as a wildcard with Trent Dilfer as their QB

The defense  is good tonight, but what concerns me the Most is who the QB will be O'Sullivan, Smith or Hill

and well i predict a 9-7 season :]

i think we are looking really good. i dont think o'sullivan  should be a starter though. i think we will do good.

the 49ers offense did great.  they struggled to put points up on the Packers starting corners, but the Packers LB was healthy and in for most of the 1st half, yet the niners put up numbers.  however, keep in mind that 2 of the 4 Defensive Linemen starting for GB in this game were backups. so that doesn't help clear too much up.  again though, it was a solid performance on both sides for SF.  SF got a couple breaks against A-Rod as the receivers dropped a couple crucial passes, but also applied a tremendous amount of pressure and having good coverage, leading to a few sacks.  it was an overall good performance from SF, which won the game in the trenches.
