4th Request to the Community - How to Stop Weather Alerts?

I have tried every thing that people have said to do and I appreciate every one's answers. I have followed all help steps, I contacted Yahoo, but ignored. I would like EVERY ONE that uses Yahoo to know that once you create a Weather Alert and have it sent to you mobile, there is a flaw in the Yahoo Programming and CAN NOT turn it off even though you delete it. I have brought this to their attention over a week ago. Unfortunately, they still have not fixed the problem and still continue to receive the Alerts 3 times a day. I have told them that I am an extremely ill person, but Yahoo does NOT seem to care about me as a customer and I have been a paying customer for over 5 years with this account. I am totatlly dissatisfied with Yahoo and with their customer service. If this is NOT fixed ASAP, I am reporting Yahoo to the Texas State Attorney Generals office, the FTC and the FCC by the end of the week. Sincerely, txvalentine

  1. have you gone to the weather alert website and canceled your alert status there? you may have to do that, rather than go through yahoo accounts. also, havce you gone to my accounts page and see if you can cancel it there?

  2. I went over to weather alerts( I have it going to email ) and found what you are talking about no option to cancel.

Sooooo I just changed the email I wanted the alerts to be sent to.  You do the same thing just give them another cell phone number and let them deal with it ;-)
