4th dimension? Does it exist?

What is 4th dimension? Does it exist on earth or in the universe?

If you mean precise meaning of this term, then yes, it is exist and it is time.

But if you mean "parallel world", or "parallel dimension", then science is not know, if it exist.

Some theries say, that it is.

For example, there is manyworld interpretation of wauntum mechanics, which says, that every possibility or lost chance is realized in some alternative reality.

Another example is recent discoveries about composition of cosmic matter. It was found, that we see only few percents of all existing matter, and that most mass of it is invisible and is not interacting with our common matter. Then it is possible, that many worlds are constructed of this matter and these worlds are flying through us and we are not capable to feel them...

The foruth dimension is time.  More specifically, we treat time and space as a single mathematical structure called space-time.  It has four dimensions, 3 spatial and one temporal.  This mathematical structure allows us to represent physics as the interaction of geometries on space-time.  It is extremely useful for describing gravitation and cosmology.

yes it exists... the fourth deminsion is space-time (if i remember correctly) recently becuase of string theory we've 'learned' there are far more dimensions then previously thought.... the basic theory calls for 11 total (i believe)

In math, however; the 4th dimension does exist. So does the 1/3 dimension.

Einstein thought the 4th dimension was time.

Yes, it exists.

The first dimension is length. The second is width giving us the area of a plane. The third is height allowing volume. The fourth dimension is duration, giving us time.

Well yes, it does. We are in it now....sorta, it ended in 1980, so we are between dimensions now, the 5th dimension will be on December 21st, 2012. It exists everywhere physically, the 5th is spiritual. Time will end on that date so this is a timed dimension-like period. So if you feel old its cause of time collapsing.
