How many teams are disqualified in olympics mens and ladies 4x100 m relays in 2008 beijing after first heats? I thought both USA teams and jamaicas, GB mens???

6 men's teams, 5 women's teams. What a mess. Both the men's and women's US teams flubbed!

USA and GB are the big teams that are out for mens.

USA so far for womens. (not sure if they got DQ'ed but they didn't get through)

USA, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa : DNF

GB, Italy: DQ

Womens

Trinidad & Tobogo, France: DNF

USA, Italy, Ukraine: DQ

Neither Jamaican women nor men were disqualified.

6 teams in the mens were DQed or did not finish: Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, USA, Italy, and I'm not certain on Britain.

For the women, 5: Italy, USA, France, Trinidad and Ukraine.
