4x4? cons, pros? did you like it?

this year at my high school [im a freshmen] they're going by this 4x4 where every semester yuu have 4 different classes. well i want to kno is it better than the regular 7 or 8 classes all year?

Cons:

More work each day.

Longer periods.

Less time to learn the lessons.
