Question:

5'2'' and 189 llbs. Please help...?

Hi, my best friend (Alyssa) is stressed and I really want to help her get her back the peppy way she was. You see, she is 5'2'' and 189 pounds and now she feels like the 'world has abandoned the fat girl' -whatever that means. She says:

"When I look at myself in the mirror, I see a cute and curvy girl. But if you put a small skinny girl next to me I just feel like throwing up and stop eating or worse...kill myself"

...this kills me. I hate seeing her like this and I want her to stop. I can I tell her that she is beautiful and everyone is jealous of her singing/piano abilities and maybe some diet suggestions. Thank you in advance and God bless you!

  1. Running, aerobics, and basically just eating less will help her. Eating small amounts of food that is high fat rather than lots that is high carbs is good for you.

    She shouldn't set any specific weight loss goal.

    She sounds like a curvy body type so she shouldn't overdo it.

    She should get to where she doesn't have a fat stomach and then she'll be fine the number on the scale really doesn't matter.

    She's a girl so its not about how much she weighs but where the weight is, but of course this only works for so much weight and unless shes REALLY REALLY curvy shes a bit over that mark for that.

    Tell her to look in the mirror for change in her body as she progresses not what her weight says about her.
