5.4 california earthquake?

I realize that an earthquake just hit california. I'm hearing that it was just a foreshock, and i'm wondering if there really is a chance of a even bigger earthquake coming in the next few hours. If anyone has any information, can you tell me what are the chances, is where, because i live in a city right next to the epicenter in Chino hills

I hadn't heard that one. They are probably saying we are due for a big one.  I don't think they are capable of predicting yet.  For really good information check out the website of the US Geological Survey @

Yeah I heard that on the news too! I'm here in Riverside and I hope we don't get anything bigger!

That's what they said about the 5.6 quake we had here in SF last year, and nothing ever happened.

omg!

i live in los angles but in santa clarita(so not deep into los angles)!

i felt the earthquak once i stepped in my sister's car going to a pool party and it  actually felt like some people picked up and started tossing it around! it was freaky! i dont know for sure if another earthquake will occur but if another one does occur be sure to stay safe and if u feel it make sure u run to the closest door way and here is what to do:

*put yourself under the door

*place your hands on the door way wall

*place ur feet at the bottom corners of the door way

this helps because the door way is the strongest part of ur house

also u can:

*run under a desk or table

*hold the leg of the desk or table

*then while holding on tight, put your other arm over your neck so that way your neck is protected
