5.5mbs dl speed, 70Kbs upload speed. Why is upload so sloooooow?

I recently upgraded to AT&T's fasted dsl service which is supposed to be around 6mbs download speed and upload speed is around 512 Kbs. Normally I'm somewhere around that speed but today my upload has taken a serious hit. Anyone know what could cause this?

The reason why it is so slow, because your program you are using is requested or using less than the max upload speed you have on your internet service.

It also does depend on your program
