does eating 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals really help boost your metabolism?

if so, what is a sample daily meal plan for a 5ft 14 yr old who wants to eat 5-6 small meals a day.

  1. Yes they say it does boost your metabolism. But you are only 14 years old? Your metabolism is sky high already. Trust me, when you're 34 its going to be a lot slower.

    Try eating the same amount of calories but eat 5 meals instead of 3. I would keep 3 main meals and make two snack type meals, but no candy or chips or c**p like that. Make your snack meals a piece of fruit and some protein. The protein keeps your insulin from going up to rapidly so you avoid putting fat on.
