5 Reasons why Arsenal can win the League – Part 1
This season has been the most astonishing in terms of results on the pitch and controversies off it. A season where shocks have come thick and fast, Manchester Untied have remained unbeaten (somehow) and Arsenal have picked up more points away from home than at the Emirates.
We have seen the two extremes of the current Champions, Chelsea. Not many could have bet against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 retaining their Premier League crown after the start they made to the season. However, it’s quite the opposite now and not many would bet in favour of the Blues to be the champions of England come May.
Manchester City are slowly but surely making progress under Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 and while teams have faltered around them, they have quietly sneaked into second place behind their cross city rivals Manchester United. The January signing of Edin Dzeko is sure to give their title challenge a huge boost.
Tottenham have played probably the best attacking football this season, which has allowed them to have an outside chance of winning the league. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 who used to be mentioned in the same berth as the teams mentioned above, have had one of the worst years (2010) in the clubs history. It seems like that they won’t be able to finish as high as 7th in the league this season – the position they finished last season.
The title race is sure to go down to the wire and Manchester Untied are going to drop points and lose games before the end of the season. This will give a chance, most likely to Arsenal and Manchester City to catch the Red devils.
Although we know that neither team have the experience of a title race but the experience of Arsene Wenger can prove decisive, especially if it came down to these two teams.
Bettor.com has come up with 5 reasons why Arsenal will be crowned champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 at the end of 2010-11 season.
1. Fabregas, van Persie and Nasri
This is one major reason why Arsenal can win the league. We have seen Cesc Fabregas carry the burden of Arsenal’s weak title challenges in previous seasons but this season he has to thank http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, who has certainly emerged from the shadow of his skipper.
There is no one doubting the ability of van Persie, but there are serious doubts about the Dutchman’s fitness. This season he was yet again sidelined for earlier part of the season and has only returned recently to full fitness.
Cesc Fabregas also has had his fair share of injuries and he needs to keep that hamstring in tact till the end of the season. If his hamstring pulls again, Arsenal may be forced to pull out of the title race.
Keeping the trio fit will be key for Arsene Wenger. Deep down inside he knows that without them, Arsenal lack the necessary quality. We have already seen in the last couple of games, how the three have combined to destroy teams.
Against Birmingham, Nasri and Fabregas put on a show which would have made even the likes Xavi and Iniesta proud of. They passed their way around the Birmingham midfield countless number of times and at times as if Birmingham’s midfield didn’t exist.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 looked back to his very best against West Ham last weekend, 2 goals and an assist will give him all the confidence in the world and can kick start his season.
With Walcott in top form, Arsenal have a lethal front four. They are capable of giving any defensive a real run for their money. However, the key is to make sure that the trio of Fabregas, van Persie and Nasri play as many games together as possible till the end of the season.
