5 apples in a basket.?

Theres 5 apples in a basket. Theres 5 girls and each girl has to have an apple, but an apple still has to be left in the basket. =]

4 girls took 4 apples...............the last girl took one left in the basket..........and took the basket also..............so one apple is still in basket.............tricky question...........but not enough

get the first 4 girls to pick one apple each. The last girls gets the apple and the basket.
