1st law of motion is the law of inertia:

applications:

1. dance...gracefulness and awkwardness in dance moves is due to inertia

2. throwing upward a ball...it keeps moving upward before it starts to fall down because of inertia

3.the trick of pulling quickly the table mantle without moving a the vase

4. the rolling ball in bowling...it travels in a constant speed and it will not stop if it will not hit the pins...for its surface is smooth...almost considered as an ideal system

5. you can't immediately halt a moving object because of inertia...its tendency to resist change.
