5 day old chickens losing wing down/feathers?

Question

we hatched 8 chickens....dont know what breed... the have 2 dark stripes down their backs!! english i thing!...they are 5 days old now and i have noticed that their wing/down/feathers are disappearing!! is this normal? are they just losing down to grow feathers??/ help i havnt got a clue!!

This is normal.Dont worry about it at all.They will get their feathers fast and not look so pitiful.

That is absolutly normal. DOnt worrie. They  are loosing that and will grow in there new feathers. Unless you see them plucking them out than they are destressed. But they are just loosing it and growning new.
