$5 foot longs at subway?

Question

Does anyone else think that $5 footlongs at subway are bomb, and probably the best marketing decision since jared. I have been munchin at subway for the past week.

i agree! that was a great idea. i hold the mayo and have them to cut my sandwich into thirds. that way i have parts of 3 meals taken care of.

oh yeah I go there quite often too and sometimes buy an extra one for 2 of us for lunch the next day.  Then just grab it out of the fridge and go......

I do construction and man do I get hungry! I eat those subs everyday for lunch. I get the combo - foot Long + Drink + 2 chips =)

it's a great deal, however, it's unfortunate that it excludes great subs like the new hot pastrami sub.

I have had these subs everyday for like a few weeks now, but never try anything new. I always get Meatballs, banana peppers, green peppers, pepper jack cheese, olives, hot peppers and sprinkle of parm!!

This is funny...as I read your question... the $5 foot long @ Subway commercial played on TV. I think it's an excellent idea...but I am wondering how they can make money with such a cheap sandwich. In the mean time, well, I am on my way to Subway...

i never used to eat subway because it made me sick a long time ago. and i havent went back since. but recently i went in and got a $5 sub and it was great. they had a real good idea making that offer to people. theyre making a lot of money doin it.
