5 month old not sleeping through

my son is 5 months old and he is not sleeping through the night yet is this normal?

  1. Yes it is normal.  One thing that might help is mixing some infant cereal with his 9 or 10 o clock bottle.  I started doing that with my daughter when she was 3 months old and she has slept until 7 or 8am ever since.


  2. Yes, definitely normal. At 5 months I was still waking up at least once a night to feed my son.

  3. Yes it is.  Most people think once they turn 4 months old they automatically start sleeping all night.. What a dream!!  However,  some do get lucky and have a very good sleeper.. I was never so lucky!!  In the books,  all night is 5 hours...  I say they don't stop disturbing your sleep until they are moved out of the house!  No one can determine how long your son sleeps except him.  They will wake up for a number of reasons,  at any time.  Sometimes they just simply wake up through the night as us adults do.  Don't worry,  one day you'll gain back your sleep!!   LOL!  :(  Take care!

  6. Yes it is very normal. My son didn't sleep through until he was 2 years old.
