  1. Thats a high capacity filter! Your tank should be very clean and wont need to be cycled. Are you asking how much water to keep in the tank? As long as there is a place for them to go to breathe every once in a while, its up to you. Ours ate tropical fish flakes and blood worms. Our water was room temp.

  2. I keep mine in a similar sized tank and keep it planted with elodea and floating plant such as 'fairy moss' and duckweed. There are also snails in there to control algae and it is heated to around 75-77F. The light is from natural light (its on my window sill).

I change 25% of the water once a week, no filters as they dont do well with a current and they dont like vibrations either. Having the plants keeps it clean and the water change keeps ammonia in check.

I have four frogs in this set up. (two male , two female)

I feed mine on livefoods: bloodworm, daphnia, glassworm, mosquito larvae and tubifex. You could feed frozen forms of these, but they arnt as keen on them. You have to defrost them and make them 'move' using a pipette to stimulate them to feed.

They are fasinating little frogs and mine call, display and breed freely. Very happy little frogs!
