5-star restaurant in Detroit for a great experience?

Every year we go to The Lark for my birthday. It is a cozy little restaurant, with several courses included, and if feels very SPECIAL. Well there is an event this year, and we can't go. Does anyone know of a really good 4 or 5 star restaurant in Detroit with a unique EXPERIENCE, not just a good dinner?

I really like Coach Insignia, on the 72nd floor of the RenCen. It's the 2nd highest restaurant in the northern hemisphere, with BEAUTIFUL views of the city. It's definitely 5 star. Check out their website--mattprenticerg.com--click on fine dining, and choose Coach Insignia from the menu. You won't be disappointed!

The Dearborn Inn which is in Dearborn is a great dining experience. They have amazing food, and different restaraunts inside that you can chose from to fit your style. Plus the hotel is old fashioned, so after dinner walk around for awhile, they have a bunch of courtyards outside that are beautiful.

The Henry Ford Estate has a restaruant, also amazing food. It is in Dearborn, inside of Henry Ford's house. There are a ton of gardens and a waterfall there, its a beautiful setting.

Then for something more modern there is the 5 at St. John's. It is located in Plymouth. Five star food, but its pretty much just that, good food.

Tribute in Farmington Hills is on the same caliber as The Lark.  It's at 12 Mile & Orchard Lake.

The only AAA 4 diamond restaurant in Metro Detroit is Iridescence in the Motor City Casino.  It is wonderful with beautiful sweeping views of the city.

I would also like to highly tout Coach Insignia on the 70th floor of the Ren Cen.  The ambiance is like no other you will experience in Michigan.

idk much about detroit detroit but i know that the bullfrogs(they have them in alot of diffrent places) is a great place to go.

Look for places in Royal Oak, a suburb outside of Detroit.

I would definitely suggest Tribute in Farmington Hills - great place! Fantastic food, fabulous service, beautiful dining room!
