I attempted to attached 5 small speakers to my pc inputs and I only got two speakers to work only the green imput work.

What could be causing this problem/

I will give more details about the imputs on the pc, there is a grey imput which states side, the black imput states the rear and the yellow imput states the sub.

Below theses three are another three imputs pink imput for micro a green imput which states out and a blue imput which states in.

It was only the green imput which worked?

What could be the problem?

  1. ok. i got 5.1 too.

the black plug goes to black socket.

    green to green socket

    yellow to yellow socket.

goto control panel - audio and sound (or whatever its called)

then advanced. change your speaker setup to surround sound 5.1.

make sure your sub is powered up and switched on, and the speakers are connected to it properly!

make sure the motherboard drivers are installed or the sound card(if its not legacy- meaning if your sound card is in the motherboard)

LAUREL - how much are you getting paid for routing us to that site and using that google tool bar??

  2. I imagine your speaker settings, you will probably need to go into control panel or use the CD that came with the speakers
