5 ways in which Barcelona or Real Madrid can emerge victorious in the “el Clasico” (Part 1)
The Spanish La Liga is mostly decided over the two matches that take place against one of the best teams in not only Spain but Europe; Barcelona and Real Madrid. Both the Spanish sides Real Madrid and Barcelona have dominated in the past by not only winning
the local Spanish titles but also the European Championship.
The Catalan Giants, Barcelona have won 3 European titles in the past while Real Madrid still hold the record of winning the highest number of European titles which is 9. If there is one team that can break their record and is the closest of making it 9;
it is the Italian side AC Milan who have managed to win the same title 7 times.
Talking about the Spanish La Liga; Real Madrid have won the most of it while Barcelona are the only side that are the closest to winning the title the same number of times. The Los Blancos have won the title on more than thirty occasions while Barcelona
are still ten years behind them as they are only just a few above twenty.
Even though Real Madrid have always been the side who have managed to buy the extraordinary talent all around the world, Barcelona are the side that are hailed all by everyone for “making” the talent by picking up raw talent and polishing it themselves.
In the recent history, Real Madrid have managed to make only a few world class players like Iker Casillas and Raul Gonzales. Casillas is still hailed as one of the best goalkeepers in the entire history, even though he has a lot to prove yet; on the other
hand, Raul is the second highest goal scorer in European competitions and the highest goal scorer in the Champions League history.
Whenever these two giants collide, it is not only about bragging rights, in fact it is more than that. Barcelona are the side that have been politically disrupted in the past while on the other hand Real Madrid have always seen themselves standing tall because
they have been under the Royals of Spain. When these two teams collide, it is war for both the sides. Even though the Los Blancos have players from outside of Spain, Barcelona’s players take this as a revenge for the players that have played for them in the
past during the time when General Franco was in charge of Spain and literally robbed their title by deploying army on the sidelines.
Barcelona have been under Josep Guardiola for the past two years and they have won all the four El Classico’s that they have been a part of while being under the Spaniard. On the other hand, Real Madrid were under Pellegrini and he was just not good enough
to stay in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu so now it is one of the best coaches in the world, Jose Mourinho who has been given the duty to change things round for Real Madrid who have been losing this prestigious match for the past four times.
Bettor.com is going to give five reasons for both the sides that why would they win this match taking place on 29th of November, Monday.
